What are Celebrant Ceremonies?
A professional celebrant works with a family or couple to create ceremonies to mark life’s significant events. These can include weddings with a civil ceremony celebrant, naming ceremonies with a naming celebrant, vow renewals and funerals.
Celebrants write and deliver ceremonies that are held in venues and locations all over the country, however finding a local celebrant may be beneficial. We create a bespoke family ceremony that reflects the uniqueness of the couple or family we are working with. These ceremonies can be traditional, with a twist or completely creative and quirky.
My Story
I lost my sister, Liz, to cancer in 2020, after her funeral I decided that I wanted to be able to help families celebrate their loved ones at significant points in their lives. This led me to train as a celebrant in 2021 and now I create, write and deliver ceremonies for births, weddings and funerals in and around Oxfordshire, each one a legacy to Liz.
Why Use a Wedding Celebrant?
Incorporating a wedding ceremony celebrant for wedding celebrations will create personal and heartfelt experiences – a true reflection of a couple’s journey and their unique love story.
Couples who require legal marriage registration complete this paperwork for a small fee at their local Registration Office which means that celebrant wedding ceremonies are not bound by any regulations or restrictions and can be held in a licensed or unlicensed premises.
So, if you find yourself drawn to the idea of a ceremony that goes beyond the ordinary a celebrant led celebration might be the perfect fit.
Each celebration is really about the people in the limelight be it a new addition to the family, a newly married couple or saying farewell to a loved one. A celebrant led celebration really sets the focus on the individuals and their story – be it one of welcome to the world with a naming ceremony celebrant, telling a love story or celebrating a life with a funeral celebrant.
